The picture: Farmer Brown on his tractor.

The words in braille and print on facing pages:

The farmer saw that Danny was upset. He told Danny's mother that Farmer Brown, at the next farm down the road, grew pumpkins too. They got back in the car and headed for Farmer Brown's farm.

When Danny and his mother drove up the long drive, his mom said, "This looks more like a farm."

"It smells like one too," said Danny, wrinkling up his nose.

"Be good Danny," his mother warned, "or no pumpkin. Do you hear me young man?"

"Yes, Ma, I hear ya. I'll be good. I promise."
